Passionate about being an instrument of the Holy Spirit.
Why This Space Exists
Hi, I am Muriel.
Thank you for visiting my site today.
I created this space to exercise my own lay apostolate in the world — which the Church teaches is the proper place of the laity’s participation in Christ’s salvific mission — and to support other lay women in doing the same. Why?
Because I dream of a world that genuinely reflects the goodness of God.
Ordinary Life as the Place of Mission
I believe shaping a world that reflects the goodness of God becomes possible when the children of God intentionally offer themselves to be instruments of the Holy Spirit Who renews the face of the earth.
In doing so their ordinary daily actions — in family life, work, leadership, civic and public life — may be used by God to transform their immediate surroundings, and change lives.
Take, for instance, entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation. When inspired by the Holy Spirit and executed under His guidance by people open to cooperating with Him, they can give rise to real long-lasting and sustainable solutions that serve life rather than cause harm in the long run.
Faith at Work in the World
Whatever you do, do it for the Lord. Whatever you do, do it intentionally for the glory of God.
The Ripple Effect of a Lived Faith
Each of us is called to create a positive ripple effect through the way we study, work, form relationships, build families, exercise leadership, shape culture, and engage in society.
A life lived as an intentional lay apostolate, in the hands of the Holy Spirit, can create a positive ripple effect far beyond what one individual could ever imagine possible. Imagine then what could be achieved with many individuals working together to shape the world from within under the Holy Spirit!
You matter to the mission of Christ on earth. And to that of the Church in the world. Your contribution to making the Kingdom of God visible on earth as a lay woman cannot be substituted, delegated, or outsourced.
If this resonates with you, join my space — so together, as lay women, we may shape and influence the world as God desires, one decision, one action, one day at a time.
