The world was changing quickly — new cultures, new technologies, new ways of thinking — and the Church needed to speak clearly about how the Gospel is shared in this new landscape.
Pope Paul VI took their reflections and shaped them into Evangelii Nuntiandi (1975).
It became one of the most influential documents of the modern Church — and it speaks directly to the mission of the laity.
