The Council speaks with urgency about the modern world — its confusion, its beauty, its wounds, its possibilities.
And then it says something astonishing:
The laity are called to “renew the temporal order” according to God’s plan. (AA 7)
This means your daily life — your work, your relationships, your decisions, your influence, your creativity — is a place where Christ desires to act.
You are not a spectator.
You are not a helper on the sidelines.
You are a co‑worker in the mission of God.
