The Council teaches that the laity share in Christ’s mission as:
Priest — offering your life, work, joys, and struggles to God (LG 34)
Prophet — witnessing to the Gospel through your words and your way of living (LG 35)
King — shaping the world according to God’s justice, mercy, and peace (LG 36)
This is not abstract theology. It’s the Church’s way of saying:
Your life matters.
Your voice matters.
Your presence in the world matters.
