Ask yourself:

  • When I feel wanted, do I lower my standards?

  • When I feel alone, do I act from fear?

Emotional steadiness protects dignity.

Relationships and marriage test and reveal your emotional regulation skills.

When criticised, do I:

  • Attack

  • Withdraw

  • Become cold

  • Break down

Ask yourself:

Would I feel safe married to someone who reacts like I do?

In relationships / marriage

At work & in leadership

Under pressure, do I:

  • Become controlling?

  • Become defensive?

  • Avoid responsibility?

  • Seek validation?

Ask yourself:

If my influence increased tomorrow, would my emotional structure hold?

Faith-life integration

When emotionally unsettled, do I:

  • Withdraw from prayer?

  • Justify myself?

  • Blame others?

Or do I:

  • Pray for calm and serenity

  • Meditate to understand

  • Turn to Scriptures for answers

  • And surrender to the Will of God
